These gears often lose a tooth and replacements can only be sourced in two ways, by buying a complete replacement gearset (£4000+) or by finding a good used original, like we have here.
We only sell used parts we have inspected and have confidence in, however, we cannot offer any warranty on these gears (they are 60+ years old!)
NB – the BN1 gearbox is referred to as ‘3 speed’ but actually has 4 gears. This is 3rd gear in assembly but 2nd gear in a BN1. (1st gear being blanked off).
